”When was the last time you felt strongly connected to someone?” Over a period of one year, psychologist Tim de Jong asked 52 strangers this question. In order to explore when people feel connected and with curiosity to learn from that.

The conversations were held with different experts and a wide group of people: a local police officer, psychologist, window cleaner, gardener, farmer, hairdresser, data analyst, and so on.

Out of every conversation came a ‘Moment of Connection’. With a quote, photo, short piece and a audio clip. The collection of all the moments can be found on Instagram and on EMMA.nl/connect.

Connection seems to be important in life. However, we are not always aware of it and we have to search for this moments. That’s why EMMA wants to inspire by reflecting on the question: When do you feel connected?

This game helps with that by playing with the act of seeing and being seen. By seeing yourself and seeing the other.
